Objectives

Geral objective
Ensure the conservation of the Macaronesian Sparrowhawk and the Laurel Forest, defining suitable measures for ecological restoration and ensure long-term sustainability of the species and its habitat. Specific objectives 1) Reduce the populations of invasive species 2) Recover a burned Laurel area 3) Increase knowledge about the ecology and population trends of the Macaronesian Sparrowhawk in Madeira and Canaries 4) Promote a strong awareness campaign for the conservation of Laurel habitat and the problem of invasive plants 5) Ensure the continuation and sustainability of proposed conservation measures |
